Catching up on my blog reading over lunch today, my friend Alisa's blog inspired me and reminded me of our responsibility to care for the orphans of the world. The Bible is very clear that we as believers are to care for the orphans and widows:
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27 (NLT)
